In 1991 Robert Caruso started a new musical phase, reverted to his real name from Rob Leer, and until the end of the decade produced several recordings as a solo artist influenced by the Blues tradition, which he reshaped and fused with his previous Rock'n'Roll style. During these years he toured extensively all over Europe, receiving great reviews in the music press. The most representative recording from these years remains the album When My Train Comes (1995).
